For Teachers
Ohio FFA Works is a great way to connect graduating and recently graduated FFA members with opportunities for full-time employment. With just one application, students will be applying for multiple employment opportunities.
Ways to Promote Ohio FFA Works in Your Classroom
Please share this opportunity with your senior FFA members and any recent grads who are still current, dues-paying FFA members. If you’re interested in having guest speakers, please contact the Ohio FFA Works partners offering employment opportunities near you. Many of them would be glad to come visit with your students. Students can begin applying January 1, 2025 and no later than March 14, 2025.
Advisor Recommendation Form
After your student applies, you’ll receive an email with a simple evaluation form about your student. Please complete this form by March 17, 2025.
Student Recognition
All students hired by an Ohio FFA Works partner will be recognized on-stage during the Ohio FFA Convention. More information will be shared as the convention approaches.
FFA Chapter Support
For every student hired, their home chapter will receive $500 to help it to continue to invest in the next generation of talented employees. The placement fee will be paid by Ohio FFA Works partners six months after the student begins working. The Ohio FFA Foundation will award the funds to FFA Chapters shortly after.
