Looking to hire recent high school graduates for full-time employment? Ohio FFA Works is the hiring solution you’ve been looking for. Several Ohio FFA members are looking to enter the workforce immediately following graduation. As an Ohio FFA Works partner, we’ll connect these talented candidates directly to you.
Enrollment
Ohio FFA members are developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education – and many of these students are looking to get to work right after high school! Through one application, FFA members can apply to multiple agricultural employment opportunities. Companies then receive candidate information that best fit their needs. From there, in the spring, companies will have the freedom to interview and hire as they see fit.
Program Timeline
Sept. 1, 2024: All companies enrolled
Fall 2024 - Spring 2025: Program and job opportunities promoted
Jan. 1 - March 14, 2025: FFA member application opens
March 17-21, 2025: Top match applicant filter process
March 21, 2025: Companies receive applicants and top match candidates
March 21 - April 14, 2025: Companies interview candidates, extend offers and hire
April 17, 2025: Companies report hired students to the Ohio FFA Foundation
May 2025: Hired FFA members recognized at the Ohio FFA Convention
Important Things to Note
Exploratory positions with additional training opportunities provided by companies are encouraged when possible.
Although individual members’ availability may vary, employers should plan for any hired members to begin work after they complete their senior year of high school.
