Automated Dairy Systems Technician
Our growing company is seeking to fill a role on our team for with a focus on installation and service of robotic and traditional milking and cooling equipment working out of our Creston location serving the needs of dairy and commercial operations throughout Ohio and Southern MI. We are looking for a team player that is service-oriented, mechanical aptitude, electrical, plumbing and robotics experience preferred. We are looking for driven, purposeful individual with passion to provide solutions to our customers. Training will be provided.

Typical Duties:
Installing/servicing robotic and traditional milking systems and components
Installing/servicing refrigeration components of new/used milk tanks and cooling systems.
Installing/servicing all components of new and remodeled milk harvesting equipment
Electrical wiring and installation of barns and farms per direction of customers
Plumbing installation and service for dairy operations
Installing/servicing components of feeding equipment, silo unloaders, automated calf feeders, fans, manure equipment, waterers, lights, etc.

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time
Valid Driver’s License - with acceptable driving record

$15-$20/hour + overtime pay above 40 hours/week

This opportunity would be assisting our solutions team in assisting progressive dairymen they achieve their needs by providing solutions in precision dairy equipment, milking/cooling equipment and facilities, livestock feeding/handling equipment, herd management solutions and waste handling equipment solutions.

Typical Duties:
Assisting to build and maintain professional relationships with dairy/livestock operations throughout the territory. (Ohio, West PA, Eastern Indiana, and Michigan)
Assisting to provide professional customer service by being a consultant and leading clients through the strategic planning, design and build of the milking and cooling equipment, livestock housing, and feeding equipment needs.
Assist in process to provide customers with expertise and the right solution to meet their dairy or livestock facility and management needs.
Assist in meeting and prospecting of customers and introducing new innovative solutions for operations.
Work under the leadership of Solutions Team Leader on multiple tasks in various stages

Dairy or production livestock background preferred
